Karen Wise makes beautiful, dreamy imagery on film and digital formats. The quality is seen in the prints, in her scanning and on her websites. Her photographs are beautiful, stylish, rich in color and texture. They are masterfully crafted as fine art to be framed or placed as an heirloom in an album.
Since Karen Wise isn't always available, she has recently added other experienced and talented fine art wedding photojournalists to the mix. There are now 3 photographers to choose from with slightly differently vantage points.

SHANNON:

Steeped in her journalism background, Shannon likes to tell stories with her photographs. After studying philosophy and photography at Hendrix College, she worked as the staff photographer at the Arkansas Democrat Gazette for two of its niche publications. Since 2010, Shannon has been shooting weddings and events in the New York City Metro Area, starting off as Karen Wise's main second shooter.
Weddings are fun for Shannon to shoot because there are so many opportunities to capture joy, sincerity and humor. Shannon's genuine personality encourages warm smiles from her subjects. Each of her photographs tell a story of a wedding day be it of a charming detail the bride's been planning for months or an off-beat spontaneous moment. Her photos are bright and thoughtful, making for beautiful wedding memories.
Shannon's photos have been featured alongside Karen's on national wedding blogs such as Style Me Pretty, Grey Likes Weddings and Well Wed.
